Fall event season is in full swing, and I’m especially excited about this one!

On October 21, I’ll be co-hosting Gather & Graze at Our Lady of Perpetual Help here in with Meghan Hampson and Westminster Canterbury at Home. ❤️

We’ll be trading rushed introductions for real conversations, meaningful connections, and, of course, delicious grazing boards, cocktails and mocktails!

🎥 And I’m bringing a little something special to the gathering…

I’ll be offering a limited number of complimentary mini StoryBoard Sessions for professionals who serve older adults.

In a short, guided conversation, we’ll uncover what makes your work unique and bring your mission to life on camera. As my gift to you, I’ll send you an edited StoryBoard video clip to use on your own social media, website, or promotional platforms.

Because sometimes, the story is already there. You just need a little help bringing it to the surface.

Interested? Send me a message to reserve a spot!

🥂 Want to join us? RSVP to Meghan by October 16:

Looking forward to gathering, grazing, and celebrating the people and organizations making a difference in our community!

Sometimes, hope comes from the most unexpected places. 💙

When 17-year-old Leon Wang watched his grandfather live with Alzheimer’s, he didn’t just wonder why this disease happens, he wondered what he could do about it.

That question led him into scientific research, where he identified two existing FDA-approved drugs that may have potential for treating a form of Alzheimer’s disease.

His work is still early-stage research, these drugs have not been established as Alzheimer’s treatments. But there is something incredibly hopeful about watching a young person see a devastating disease, ask a different question, and believe that maybe there is something we can do.

And I think that's worth celebrating.

Because while we spend so much time talking about the challenges of aging, stories like Leon's remind us to also look toward the future.

The future of aging may be shaped by today's curious young minds. And perhaps the next great breakthrough is already sitting in a classroom, asking “What if?”

Here's to the young people who are curious enough to question what we think we know, and compassionate enough to use that curiosity to help others. 💙

Research continues to show that feeling heard, understood, and supported by a healthcare professional can help reduce stress and promote nervous system regulation, an important foundation for overall health and well-being.

That’s one of the many reasons I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with the brilliant woman behind Peaces & Pieces Integrative Wellness Her approach is rooted in listening deeply, meeting people where they are, and providing compassionate support that helps individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered.

She is bringing so much to our healthcare community right here in and it has been an honor to help capture the heart behind her business and share her message.

Of course, we managed to have plenty of fun during the shoot, too! 😊

I love partnering with professionals who are making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and their families.

What a beautiful evening at the Coastal Cocktail Community Networking Event hosted at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Virginia Beach!

There’s something special about bringing together neighbors, professionals, community leaders, and friends in a relaxed setting to share conversations, build connections, and strengthen the ties that make our community thrive.

From the coastal breeze to the great conversations and new friendships formed, the evening was filled with positive energy, collaboration, and a shared commitment to supporting one another. Super shout out to Meghan Hampson for bringing us together!
