Arthur Conforti: The Retail Experience

Arthur Conforti: The Retail Experience Moved from NJ to Sarasota, started with a hot dog stand, then opened a flower shop with my parents in 1986.

Built it into Sarasota’s top florist, led with tech, sold after 30 years, and now run a digital agency where passion and work go hand in hand. Passionate Retail Florist coined the phrase, 'Exceeding Your Expectations" and living up to it. Goal, to assist fellow Retail Florists and anyone in Retail challenged by information that could feel overwhelming such as, understanding Google ads, basic onlin

e marketing, reading a wire service statement and making the most with their POS system to help enjoy and improve business.

For website development, always remember, people build websites to RANK, not to just appear.

Most consumers don't know what they need but they seem to know what they want. An experienced website builder understands this and can help you on your journey. Unfortunatly there are many scammers. NEVER heasitate to ask your developer to SHOW RESULTS. Have them show results that appear now.

Marketing and web development go hand in hand.

Results and Value = SUCCESS.

With over 30 years website development and marketing, I welcome your questions. I understand to work togther, I Must Earn your trust. Do you have a question?

Be glad your competition doesn't know these numbers. Agency's or Local Tv Media Doesn't Want you to SEE THIS, because it's unmatched. Prices like this, anyone could be seen online.
Flowers are visual and as far as I have learned, there is no better way to sell flowers than visuals that interrupt people scrolling the internet. Sound rude? It's the internet as we know it., Everyone is trying to get a spot. The internet today is what TV was in the 90's. TV:
People leave the room, Fast-forward, Look at their phone, Forget the ad 10 seconds later!
Digital Ads on Google...
Shows the ad only to relevant people
Tracks clicks, calls, and sales
Lets you follow people who showed interest
Can be paused, scaled, or adjusted instantly
Proves performance in black and white
The simplest way to say it
“For the cost of one minute of prime-time TV, this campaign delivered nearly 200,000 targeted views, over 2,000 real interactions, and full tracking of results. TV gives exposure. This gives accountability.”
With all this traffic occuring online, this is the least expensive way to get infront of your customers while they search around. No need to go any further because now they can see you and not your competitor. So here is just one of our florists last November.
191,753 views (impressions, may not have all been seen)
$1,084 total spend (What our client spent on ads)
Cost per view: about $0.0056 (just over half a penny)
2,044 people actually clicked and chose to engage. 2,044 people saw you.

This is the tip you have been waiting for. The only reason everyone doesn't do this is because they don't know how. You now do!
That’s important: you didn’t just buy eyeballs. You bought intent and action.

The Value of the URL Structure in SEO

Search engines use URLs to understand what a page is about and how it relates to the main website. A well-structured URL helps Google connect all your pages under one strong domain — which builds overall authority and visibility.

Example 1:

flowersbylouann.com/weddings
This is the correct way to build authority.

It keeps the content under your main domain (“flowersbylouann.com”).

Every page — weddings, sympathy, about, contact — strengthens your main site’s SEO.

Backlinks, keywords, and user traffic all flow into one domain, improving its overall ranking power.

Example 2:

flowerbooklook.com (separate website)
This hurts your SEO.

It splits your authority into two sites. Google treats it as a completely different business.

Links and traffic to “flowerbooklook.com” don’t benefit “flowersbylouann.com.”

You’re basically starting over with a brand-new domain that has no history or authority.

Simple Rule

If it’s part of your main brand — keep it inside your main domain as a subfolder, not a separate domain or subdomain.

Only three add on items can be selected at a time. If you wish to change your selection, please set one of your currently selected items back to default.

Most of my life, I was told I couldn’t.
I came to realize something important:
People often say you can’t because they can’t—or won’t—and they project that onto you.

Once I understood that, everything changed.
The success, growth, and clarity I was searching for?
It was all waiting on the other side of belief—belief in myself.

Ever have a great idea, only to be discouraged by people you hoped would support you? You’re not alone. That happens to all of us. The question is: what do you do next?

You push forward.
You follow the passion that brought you to that moment.
You stop waiting for someone else to validate your journey.

People who tell you you're working too much or not "balanced" enough often say it because they don’t understand what drives you.
And that’s okay. They don’t have to.

I was told:
“You can’t.”
“You won’t.”
“You shouldn’t.”

So I removed the T’s.
I could. I can. I will.
And eventually—I did.

The price? Time.
But I loved the process. I kept moving forward. And one day, I looked around and saw others asking me for advice.

Funny how that works.

So the next time someone doubts your dream or questions your drive—just keep going. Don’t stop. They might not get it, and that’s not your burden to carry.

Believe in what you’re building. Share your story here. You’re not alone.

Want to stand out? Start with the details.

I didn’t just sell hot dogs—I created an experience.
My cart served hard-to-find Sabrett hot dogs straight from New York. I tracked down the signature blue-and-yellow umbrella so everyone knew exactly what I was serving. Every day, I had a day-old newspaper out for people to browse. That was the best you could get back then.

Some days I wore a Yankees cap. Other days, a Mets one—just to spark conversation. People stopped by to talk sports, catch up on the headlines… and most of the time, they stayed for a bite.

The goal was to sell food, sure. But I never led with that.
I led with environment, curiosity, and connection.
The result? People felt welcome—and the rest took care of itself.

Whatever you do, do it differently. The small details make all the difference.
