What if I told you that washing a wheelchair could completely make someone’s day?
This week, our Bible study is going to a nursing home, but we’re not just going to visit.
We’re throwing a wheelchair car wash!
We’re going to wash and clean their wheelchairs, play music, have fun, laugh with the residents, and most importantly, remind them that they are loved and not forgotten.
But before we went, my Bible study came over and we had to practice.
And let me tell you...
We may have taken this wheelchair car wash training a little too seriously. 😂
This is us figuring out exactly what we’re going to do.
And THIS is what happens when you put a Bible study group in charge of a car wash.

But underneath all the fun is something that really matters.
There are people sitting in nursing homes who would absolutely LOVE someone to come spend time with them.
And they especially love seeing kids.
So if you have children, bring them.
Let them talk to the residents.
Let them laugh with them.
Let them serve them.
Let them see what it looks like to love people with their actions.
Sometimes serving God doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes it looks like showing up...
washing a wheelchair...
making somebody laugh...
and reminding them that somebody cares.
