Thunderbolt Consultants is proud to partner with the City of Pooler on the Quacco Road widening project!

This transformative infrastructure project spans 1.6 miles from Blue Moon Crossing to just past Canal Bank Road. It's designed to alleviate congestion and improve traffic flow for one of Pooler’s busiest corridors.

Thanks to the vision of Mayor Karen Williams and Pooler City Council, and with support from Congressman Buddy Carter, who secured a $2 million federal funding
, this project is a powerful example of how SPLOST funds are improving quality of life across Chatham County.

With engineering by Kimley-Horn and construction by Astra Group, LLC, the $19.2 million project is set to be completed by February 2028.
