Attended my first Marketing & Mimosas w/ Graphic Designer - Marketing Strategist
And I must say, It Felt so good to be in a room full of Black women who don’t hate on each other. 🥂🤎
300+ women from all walks of life came together for the weekend with the same goals in mind: to strategize, network, learn, and GROW.
I never imagined being in a room with so many women and coexisting in a space that allowed us to be transparent, vulnerable, and ourselves with NO judgment.
Marketing & Mimosas showed me that you really can be in a room full of people doing the same thing as you and it NOT be competition. I received so much advice, knowledge, and so many gems, and I gave just as much in return. That part meant everything to me.
I came into this event without many expectations and left feeling motivated, inspired, and READY. Ready to pour into my brand the same way I’ve poured into Corporate America all these years.
Here’s to the elevation of ME.
-The elevation of my business.
-The elevation of my network.
-And being intentional about putting myself in more rooms filled with like minded people.
This is only the beginning. ✨
