Hi Everyone! It's been a bit since I've posted. Here is an update on Lulu's.

The Shop has been on vacation for about a month. Etsy has increased their seller fees again, I needed ample time to reprice, create an entire new collection and load. It's quite a bit of work.

This past week many Etsy Shops went on strike in protest of the increase in seller fees and put their shops on vacation. Etsy was intended for handmade items and the market is being flooded by shops that are evidently not. In addition to that, the shops are graded at an unrealistic standard that make it really difficult to maintain Star Seller Status if you are all Handmade. I am happy to report at my closing that I did keep that status but not without sacrifice of working 14 hour days. I own a second Handmade shop as well.

I am uncertain when Lulu's will reopen on Etsy, but you certainly may message me thru DM or email [email protected] for custom orders.

One other note. I am one person. I truly am a Small Shop. I do everything myself except the parts my husband helps with. Everything is made here. It is made with love and care. It really is insulting when I am asked for discounts on items for your photoshoots and I never receive photos. I have a family and bills just like everyone. Truly an unkind thing to do.

Been a bit busy over here at Lulu's! Sweet little La Fille Mal Gardee for Miss Capri. The sweetest little dancer that I have had the most pleasure of costuming this season. She chose an ombŕe pink A-line tutu that I hand dyed in the most wonderful shade. Of couse the top is that dreamy English Tulle. Blouse of embroidered floral and lace, rose taffeta bodice. Sweet buncrown with pearls and Swarovski. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure. M***e darling.

So much to be thankful for this year. We had a lovely Thanksgiving with family this year, every one healthy. We had a bit of a mess a few months back when covid took over our household and took up residence. Thankfully, after some time, all recovered and back to it.

Now, this skirt! has grown up before my eyes! She is wearing the newly released Two Layer Long Rehersal Skirt in Dusty Rose Chiffon. You can customize the colors any way you please. It is a circle skirt on a fitted waist with hooks. Add your waist and length. It is in the now.
