👏 Featured 10-Minute Presenter: Tanner Meagher!

A big shoutout to Tanner Meagher of Tier 1 Roofing for delivering his first-ever 10-minute presentation at our BNI Achievers meeting!

Tanner gave us a great look at Tier 1 Roofing, the services they provide, and how they help homeowners understand what’s really happening with their roof. Most importantly, his presentation gave our members a better understanding of how to recognize opportunities and confidently refer business his way.

This week at BNI Achievers, we had the opportunity to hear from our featured 10-minute presenter, Richard Grossman of Painter 1 of Scottsdale! 🎨🏠

Richard gave us a closer look at the services Painter 1 provides for both interior and exterior painting, while sharing his experience, approach to customer service, and what sets his business apart.

Our weekly 10-minute presentations give members a chance to go beyond the elevator pitch and help the chapter better understand who they serve, what they do, and how we can confidently refer business their way.

Game nights are about more than just winning… they’re about building relationships.

On Thursday evening, our BNI Achievers chapter traded referrals for friendly competition during a game night hosted by the amazing Katie Henderson. It was a great opportunity to step away from business for a few hours, share some laughs, enjoy great company, and continue building the relationships that make our chapter so special.

A huge thank you to Katie for opening her home and hosting such a fun evening. Looking forward to the next one!

🎤 Featured 10-Minute Presenter | Alicia Flores, Comerica Bank

This past week, our BNI Achievers chapter had the pleasure of hearing from Alicia Flores, Personal Banker at Comerica Bank, as our featured 10-minute presenter.

Alicia gave an informative presentation on the personal banking services Comerica offers, the bank’s strong presence in Arizona, and how she helps individuals, families, and business owners find financial solutions that fit their goals.

She also shared insight into the upcoming merger between Comerica Bank and Fifth Third Bank, explaining what the transition is expected to mean for customers and how it could expand opportunities and strengthen services in the future.

One of the greatest benefits of BNI is gaining a deeper understanding of each member’s business so we can become stronger referral partners. Alicia’s presentation helped us better understand who she serves and the types of introductions that create meaningful opportunities.

Today, we had the opportunity to hear from one of the true pillars of BNI Achievers, Eric Fowlston, during his feature presentation.

Eric is the owner of Tactical Home Loans and has built his business around helping others achieve homeownership, with a particular passion for serving military veterans. As a lender, he understands that the VA loan process can often feel overwhelming and confusing to those unfamiliar with it. Eric takes pride in educating and guiding veterans through every step, ensuring they fully understand and maximize the benefits they earned through their service.

Eric is also our chapter’s founding member and has been a part of BNI for more than 20 years. Over the years, he has served as Chapter President multiple times and continues to embody the very best of BNI’s Givers Gain® philosophy. His willingness to support others, share opportunities, and invest in the success of fellow members has helped shape the culture that makes our chapter so strong today.

Beyond his contributions to BNI, Eric dedicated 22 years of service to the United States Air Force. As a combat veteran, he participated in military operations around the world, serving our nation with distinction and leadership.

What stood out most in today’s presentation was not just Eric’s professional accomplishments, but the humility, character, and servant leadership that have defined his military career, his business, and his involvement in BNI. Members like Eric remind us that success is measured not only by what we achieve personally, but by how many others we help along the way.

Thank you, Eric, for your decades of service to our country, your leadership within BNI Achievers, and your commitment to helping veterans and families navigate the path to homeownership. Your presentation was both inspiring and a powerful reminder of what it means to lead through service.
