Guardian Cellars We have tasting rooms in Woodinville, Maltby/Snohomish and in Walla Walla. Hours for each location vary, so please check our website for more information.

Guardian Cellars started with two new French oak barrels, a love of chemistry and an obsession with the vines. Winemaker Jerry Riener founded Guardian Cellars in 2003 with a dedication to creating handcrafted wines from the finest vineyards in the state. Come on out and visit our tasting rooms in Woodinville's Hollywood district and in nearby Maltby.

Today is the day! We’re hosting our first small group barrel tasting with Jerry. This event filled up quickly, but due to a last-minute cancellation we now have four spots open. We’ll be tasting through new and rare library wines, wines in barrel, and learning from the winemaker himself. Heavy apps included. DM or call us to reserve. Event is at Maltby at 1 p.m.

It’s crazy to think we have released 20 vintages of wine. As a thank you for your support all of these years, we are extending an ADDITIONAL 10% discount on any purchase of 6 or more bottles through Thanksgiving. This means club members will receive a discount of 25% on case purchases! We’re extending our gratitude into shipping discounts too. We truly appreciate all the support we have received from all of you and want to show our thanks this holiday season. As a side note to guarantee receipt of these wines by Thanksgiving, you must order by noon on 11-17 for east of the rockies and 11-19 for West Coast. This is per UPS and FedEx. Goodbye Walla Walla: Jennifer and I have made the difficult decision to close our Walla Walla tasting room effective Aug. 17th.

When we hitched our wagon, ok our Toyota pickup, and headed east four and a half years ago it was a different time in wine sales and tourism.

Our focus remains on running our winery and production here in Western Washington. Nothing will change for our Woodinville and Maltby tasting rooms.

If you’re in Walla Walla on Saturday, Aug. 16th, join me and Jennifer in saying goodbye to our sweet little downtown tasting room.
