More of Joe...

I love this sunny Lake Washington image of Joe from this fall. It really makes me miss summer in the PNW. One of the things that surprised Joe during the pandemic was how much free time he has from doing virtual learning. He greatly misses his entire high school community and getting to play basketball with friends. Here's hoping we all get to gather again soon, Joe!

Due to the cancellation of my favorite event "Gowns on the Beach," I asked a few good friends if I could practice on their high school seniors this summer. Over the month I'll be uploading some photos from those shoots. Enjoy!

Today I get to highlight one of my clients I've worked with the longest - Joe! I've known Joe's parents since we were all 19 and in college together. Handsome Joe will be graduating from Mercer Island High School this June and he's aiming to attend a big college on the west coast and major in business. He's such a gentleman to work with and he was great at nailing the poses! It is always fun working with Joe and his family. Stay tuned for more images...

Yes, that's a cute bulldog in the photo. Mollie has 3 bulldogs but this particular one's name is Vince and he and my bully MacGregor were the same age. I'm pretty sure I'm one of Vince's favorite humans. Mollie rolled with the photo bomb, looking as glamorous as ever, and I smile every time I look at this image.

Today is dedicated to sweet Miss Mollie! We had such a great time together during her photo shoot at her house. After graduation this spring, Mollie hopes to study political science. Any university would be lucky to have you, Mollie! Best of luck!

More of Elizabeth...
Elizabeth has been an active member of her community choir since she was in the 3rd grade and she has deeply missed it since the start of the pandemic. In the past the choir has traveled and performed in famous locations throughout Oregon and even Ireland and Italy. This summer they were scheduled to perform in Austria but had to cancel due to the coronavirus. Elizabeth cannot wait to get to sing and travel again!

Bravo to Elizabeth for braving the chilly waters of Lake Washington in one of my "Gowns on the Beach" frocks for this moody image. She was a DREAM model.

During the pandemic Elizabeth has discovered that self motivation is challenging but vital for academic success when distance learning. When this health crisis is under control she's really looking forward to spending time with friends again and she's hopeful she can have a "true" in person college experience this coming fall. We hope for that too, Elizabeth!😍

Today is all about Elizabeth! Elizabeth is the daughter of one of my longest and dearest friends (since junior high) so Elizabeth holds a very special place in my heart. Upon graduating next June she hopes to further her education in the medical field, possibly in the areas of psychology or criminology. Good luck, Elizabeth!

I'm one day back from a fun trip to Europe and guess what I'm doing? I'm uploading my vacation photos to my favorite online photo printing site so I can start planning an album before I forget what I did! :-) This also allows me to begin deleting the hundreds of images taking up space on my phone.

How long do you wait until after your trip to deal with your photos?

Loved this look on Ethan but it was close to 80 degrees so I'm sure he was feeling it in that sweatshirt - he never complained. Ethan is full of secret talents. :-) Wait until you see his jumping photo!
