Why do I talk about the “relationship with money” instead of “abundance” or “financial freedom”?
Back in the day when I had my first taste of a spiritual awakening, my life coach told me the ultimate importance of right relationship.
You see, everything we come in contact with - person, place, thing, situation - our mind creates a relationship with.
Our relationship to that relationship is initially based in what came before. Our minds create a link like this:
This relationship looks like that relationship so it IS that relationship.
And all the old stories and programs about that type of relationship loads and attaches to the new relationship and off we go…into the same ole results.
When we are focused and aware, however, we can spot the programs and beliefs and CHOOSE different. The choice begins to create a new belief and a different result.
I love working with the relationship with money because we encounter money constantly. In fact, our relationship with money is one of the most pervasive relationship in our lives, and we don’t even realize it.
We certainly encounter money - and our programming and beliefs around it, whether consciously or unconsciously - far more often than we encounter our loved ones, our children, our coworkers. FAR MORE OFTEN.
So when we carry constriction, stress, or fear in this one relationship, that energy can very easily seep into other areas of our lives. Same is true when we carry gratitude, confidence, and prosperity.
𝓦𝓮 𝓰𝓮𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓸𝓼𝓮.
And it does not end there.
Because the money relationship is so pervasive in our experience, we can use it to heal all manner of karmic ties, ancestral trauma, personal trauma. And because money is actually a thing - one that only carries the energy the collective has given it over time (admittedly its a LOT) - we can much more easily and quickly transform how we relate to it and to ourselves.
Finally, everyone has a very unique relationship with money. And yet we can all live in the frequencies of abundance and prosperity no matter how much money is in our pile.
