What is it like to work with me? A picture says a thousand words.📸
This recent project had three goals:
1. labeling everything in my clients’ garage, for easy retrieval, 🔍
2. creating a walkway from the driveway to the house, ahead of the arrival of inclement weather, ☃️
3. packaging items in durable containers, to assure they remain in good condition.✅
Despite being filled to the brim, it took less than an hour for me to clear a path to the door. Stepping inside, I removed my shoes because, as I always tell my clients “no shoes in my house, no shoes in yours!”🚫👟
As is often the case, my client was not home while I worked, so we communicated via text. I always encourage my clients to ignore my messages until there’s a break in their day and it’s convenient for them to touch base. Often, my texts are accompanied by photos I’ve marked up, like the one in Slide 4, where I have scribbled in an arrow to show her where her ironing board can be found.↙️
During my work, I discovered these cute little pumpkins, which are perfect Fall décor! I sent her the photo in Slide 5, to let her know they were on her kitchen counter, ready to make her house look festive!🎃🎃🎃🎃
With my client’s permission, I took her wall art home to see whether I could remove an errant sticker by heating the adhesive with a hairdryer and it worked! Now, we can touch it up with a little gold paint and it’ll be good as new! Better for the planet and her wallet, too! ♻️🚫💸
The final slide was taken towards the end of my work, when the aisle was clear for walking and everything was in “apple-pie order.” 🍎🥧
