Shawnee Rotary Welcomes Tanner Morris!

Last week, Shawnee Rotary was excited to welcome Tanner Morris, Associate Athletic Director for External Operations at Oklahoma Baptist University, as our guest speaker!

Tanner gave us a great look into OBU's rich athletic history, the incredible growth of it's athletic programs, and the ways OBU continues to recruit and develop talented student-athletes. We also enjoyed hearing about the many facility improvements and investments that are helping create even more opportunities for OBU athletes.

We're thankful to Tanner for sharing his knowledge about the exciting things happening in OBU Athletics!

Shawnee Rotary is proud to learn, connect and support the organizations that help make our community stronger!

This past Tuesday, your Shawnee Rotary Club served at the Legacy Parenting Center for our monthly service project! 🍼

Through the DDDRP grant, Legacy Parenting Center has been able to provide diapers for 175 babies, giving each family a whole box of diapers and 6-12 packs of wipes each month. What an incredible resource for our community!

Our Rotary members were honored to help end the program strong by carrying out and distributing two months' worth of diapers and wipes, providing tangible resources and support to families to need them most.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to roll up our sleeves, lend a hand, and make a difference right here in Shawnee. 💙

Thinking about joining Rotary? Join us at our next meeting at OBU tomorrow, Tuesday September 29th, at noon! Details are on our page!
