We recently wrapped up the structural pad and pour for a new 80x100 commercial building. For a project of this scale, the longevity of the structure depends entirely on the preparation and the quality of the engineering beneath the surface.
To ensure maximum load capacity and eliminate long-term maintenance issues, this foundation was built to high-durability specifications:
Subgrade & Pad Prep: Excavated and built up with up to 36 inches of compacted limestone to establish a completely stable, engineered base.
Structural Beams: Poured with heavy-duty 36" x 24" perimeter beams to support the primary structural walls, tied into 18" x 24" interior grade beams for uniform weight distribution.
100% Fiberglass Rebar: Utilized advanced composite rebar throughout the slab to provide high tensile strength with zero risk of internal corrosion or concrete degradation over time.
4,000 PSI Concrete: Specified a higher-strength commercial mix designed to withstand heavy vehicle traffic and equipment loads.
From the initial dirt work to the final power-trowel finish, our focus is always on precise ex*****on and structural integrity.
If you have an upcoming commercial build, warehouse, or industrial shop in the works, feel free to reach out. We have the equipment and the experience to handle your project from the ground up.
