Their only branding photos were cell phone snapshots, and they told me over and over that they’re awkward in front of the camera.

Same person. Same brand. Two very different looks.

Four+ years of hard work, late nights, and showing up even when it was hard. And then one day, you walk across that stage and it’s real.

These photos exist because this version of life is fleeting. The cap and gown come off, the next chapter starts, and everything shifts faster than you expect. The pictures are what you hold onto.

So if you’re graduating soon or have already graduated, take them. Get in the frame with your people. Let someone capture this moment properly, because you will treasure it far more than you think.

, I am so proud of you. Graduating from Howard University is a tremendous accomplishment, and watching you celebrate this moment was an honor. Go soar, girl. The world is waiting on you.
