What makes this special? Dukunde Kawa is a well-known producer group in Rwanda. The cooperative carries multiple certifications for its various washing stations including Fair Trade, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, and UTZ, and more than 80% of its workforce is women.

Expect tasting notes of citrus, cola, and chocolate brought out by the washed method. Our team in Sioux City, Iowa, roasts this light profile to showcase its vibrant citrus and cola brightness, rounded by a smooth chocolate sweetness that defines this Rwandan lot.

Noah came to us when he still had a full-time job.

He was in the real estate industry. A solid job and career but he wanted to move into entrepreneurship and coffee. Noah attended our first Cafe 101 Workshop in July 2024. From there he took the knowledge and a strong will to move forward. Noah started with one coffee cart doing events…

And over the last 2 years, he grew his operation to a small fleet of 5 mobile carts and a recently opened brick and mortar location. Reunion Coffee in San Antonio, Texas.

This last week Noah and his team came to Council Oak for a dedicated Coffee Partner training and cupping. In their time here we covered:
-Espresso training
-Business consultation
-Machine service essentials

We’re excited to see Noah and his team move forward with their new location and continue the expansion of their mobile cart fleet!

We loved being out at Sioux City TrailFest this year. We’ve been grateful to be a part of it for the last 3 years and look forward to watching the event’s continued growth. Our Director of Coffee, Nick Topf, is an avid biker and loves being on the trails! 🚲

Our cold brew and bottled lattes at the event were made with our signature roast Prospect Hill. A Peru and Guatemala blend, great for fueling your trail ride or sipping in the morning. ☕️

Matt, our Service Director, talks about bringing a Mavam 3 group machine back to life.

A down espresso machine costs a cafe in:
