This started as a love letter to a town.

When I created Explore Smithville, it wasn’t just about activities or coloring pages.

It was about honoring the kindness I experienced.
I arrived as a visitor.
I left feeling like I belonged.

The postcards inside the book weren’t an extra.
They were part of the heart of it.

An invitation to slow down.
To write something by hand.
To send a little thoughtfulness into the world.

In our art sessions, that’s exactly what we did — we designed and wrote postcards.

Valentine’s Day doesn’t always look like roses.
Sometimes it looks like neighbors showing up.
Small businesses cheering one another on.
A place that makes room for your dreams.

However this season finds you —
celebrating, reflecting, or quietly hoping —
may you feel that kind of love.

This began with one small town.
Through , it continues to grow.
