Hi everyone! I'm just writing to share some cool art stuff my son is involved with. He has embarked on a mission to create impactful and inspiring 'wearable art', as he likes to call it, and he has created many one-of-a-kinds, in collaboration with many other of his fellow hip-hop artists and music that each of them have created. A very cool and creative collaboration.
He and his business partner/fellow artist (Fatty Monk) just hosted a Hip-Hop Art Fashion show recently (at The Foundry in Cambridge) and it was amazing! If you're curious to see any of the hip-hop performances or 'cat walk's', check out my page (https://www.facebook.com/glenn.ortiz.75), as I just posted everything (Vids and pics), which delgado helped me capture, with diligence! Thank you Lillian!!! 🙏🏽 🙇🏽 Below are some pics of some recent small wood projects I did, to aide his creative process as well.
Additionally, I've included some links of his recently completed artworks (and his assiciated music production - [https://www.youtube.com/]. He uses the projector you see in the picture, connected to a laptop, to project complex images onto clothing on the floor, where he then carefully traces outlines. Then he transfers off the floor to a table where he then painstakingly paints and brings his images to life. Lots of symbolism. He previously was using that stack of Home Depot buckets to hook his projector to. But then he and I designed something which is modular and should better aide his process of image transfer. So the wooden stand you see with the projector attached, breaks down into 3 separate pieces, so he can transport his image transfer stand in his car to anywhere he decides to do his art. The wood projects are made entirely from scrap wood cut-offs and creative thinking, and glue! that's it! Enjoy! [Their site: https://www.watermonk.net/]
