I always say that God knew I'd need to have a lot to do or I'd likely get into a lot of trouble. 😁 Prom and wedding season is upon us, so enough chatter. So, Facebook has been harassing me to post on this page since it's been a while. 😏 Don't they realize that all my amazing customers have been keeping me so occupied that this is the least of my concerns?😂
Yes, I'm still doing alterations.
Yes, I'm busier than ever.
Yes, I'm still in the same location with the same contact information.
Most importantly, I still LOVE to sew and there is never any extra charge for my great sense of humor! 😂

Today's warmer weather makes me antsy for Spring to arrive, anyone else? I was out and about recently and ran across these Springy fabrics that are adorable and made me feel hopeful that the flowers and bunnies will visit us again really soon. Of course, I picked up the cutest ones to use for masks, which are now available to you for a $10 labor charge each. Let me know if something catches your eye and I'll be sure to hop to it! Happy New Year! Please tell me in the comments what you are doing these days to occupy your time indoors. I've been working on a puzzle, organizing the house and doing a bit of machine embroidery. Most specifically, whipping up some clever baby bibs for those quarantine babies who are showing up right about now. 😁
These are 100% cotton with a velcro closure and are $12 each. What a fun surprise these would be for those quarantined parents! Please send me a message if anything piques your interest...and don't forget to comment below on how you're keeping busy these days! 😊

Hi, All! Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas! I've been running across bits of fabrics here and there in the sewing room and wanted to offer these special edition fabrics for masks. And, another year has either flown or drudged by, likely determined by whether we were considered "essential" or not. Let's face it, we are ALL essential to someone. If you find yourself down in the dumps this season, watching the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" may help bring some perspective back to this year. The good book also reminds us that a merry heart does good like a medicine, so maybe a regular dose of whatever makes you laugh might be in order.
One thing has been for sure, we have ALL seen trials this year. I suppose our response to those trials is what indicates our maturity levels.
However you choose to celebrate this holiday season, it never hurts to take a moment to count your blessings. Even in a trying year, we all still have so many to be counted.
Thank you for your loyal support this year and for keeping Sew Help Me afloat. Abundant blessings to you all as we round out this year and step a sturdy foot into the next. May you find peace in your hearts and a joy in your souls. Merry Christmas and please, please, please, let it be a Happy New Year! 😊

Not trying to rush the season but there have been some requests about holiday mask options, so here they are! Once again, we wish we weren't still masking at this point but the sad truth is that we are still being asked to do so. I suppose making the best of a trying season is what gives us grit, makes us stronger, and keeps us going.

Wowzers! October 2020 is THE month for weddings this year with 13 brides! Today is the hot date,10-10-20, in the month, with six brides trusting Sew Help Me for their bridal alterations. Well, I'm fairly certain we had all hoped that by now this masking situation would be done and over with but sadly, that is not the case. Just updating everyone that Sew Help Me is still making masks to order, and if we have to wear them, we may as well be stylish about it! 😁 Updated fabrics for the Fall season as well as our regular list are all available for order. These masks have a pocket for a filter, a wired nose adjustment for great fit, and comfortable ear elastic. Labor charge for these is $10 each and we certainly are able to make children's sizes if an ear to ear across the nose measurement or an age are included with order.
