From high school sweethearts to ENGAGED!

When Andrea + Brock told me they had a western/cowboy theme in mind for their engagement session, I knew exactly the kind of feel we needed to create. Boots, denim, open fields, a little romance… and of course, the two of them.

I think we nailed it.

There’s something extra special about photographing a couple who has already shared so much life together. From their high school days to planning their future as husband and wife, this session felt like the perfect way to capture this chapter of their story.

Congratulations, Andrea + Brock! I can’t wait to see what comes next for you two.

This one is a little extra special.

Nataly’s family and mine go way back—all the way to a little ranch in Durango, Mexico. Since Nataly was little, I honestly don’t think I have ever seen her upset…and the same goes for her mom and dad. They are truly some of the happiest, kindest people.

But this Saturday, I saw her mom, Lupe, happier and more emotional than I had ever seen her.

The first thing she said to me was, “Come and see my daughter. She’s the most beautiful bride I have ever seen.”

With my eyes already filling with tears, I told her, “Lupe, I just got here! Why are you already trying to make me cry?”

And she was right. Nataly was absolutely beautiful.

The entire day was beautiful—the weather, the location, the love surrounding them, and every little moment that came along with it.

Nataly + Everardo, thank you for allowing me to not only witness such a beautiful marriage ceremony but for trusting me to document it for you. It was truly an honor.

A little outside my comfort zone. 🤎
This workshop session was different from anything I normally do.
No flash.
A different time of day.
A location I had never photographed.
And a couple I had never met.
I was nervous. Excited. And honestly… a little worried my images would be blah. 😅

But there’s a reason Benjamin is Benjamin.

And then came Mabel & Pedro. ❤️
I didn’t know their story. I didn’t know how they loved each other. But somehow, it all came through my camera.
The connection. The laughter. The little moments.
This shoot was AMAZING.

An amazing couple, an incredible ranch, and a reminder to trust the process—even when it feels completely outside your ordinary.
