We had recently widened this driveway, power raked the entire thing and compacted it with our vibratory roller. The client had mentioned not liking this existing flowerbed and wanted to redo it. We sent them a design idea and brought it to life.

We made sure to keep spacing around the utilities required by the utility company in case any future work needed to be completed. We removed the existing natural rock border and installed landscaping block to give a more uniformed edge and filled in the area with topsoil to allow the client to install plants and flowers in the future.

With this bed being one of the first things you see as you come down the driveway, we believe that we installed something that is more appealing to the eye and blends in with the house better.

Just in time to enjoy these cool, Spring evenings by the bonfire, we recently took a clients idea for a simple outdoor fireplace and sitting area and brought it to life.

We used our skid steer to level out a pad in the sloped yard and added a long lasting, metal edging to create the ring then filled it with beautiful Alabama Sunset pea gravel.

We’ve been slacking on keeping everyone updated with the projects that we’ve been working on but have plenty of pictures to show and will get some uploaded this coming week. Starting with this:

Who would’ve thought there was that much gravel hiding under all of that grass?! This is after using our power rake and vibratory roller and didn’t add any new gravel!

My Mimi attended this church for as long as I can remember and my uncle is the pastor there and has been for many years. I’m so blessed to have the tools and equipment to be able to give to a church that holds a special place in my heart

We made a major transformation on this driveway recently.

As you can see in the second picture, one entrance to this driveway had a big rock shelf in the way. Previous owners had tried patching over it with blacktop. In situations like this, gravel will never stay on those surfaces so adding new gravel on top of that would be a waste of money.

We were able to bust out the rock shelf and black top utilizing a jackhammer. We then removed the big chunks of rock.

We power raked the entire driveway to level it out and get it prepped for a fresh top coat of gravel. Some areas had enough gravel already that they didn’t need anything new so we brought in gravel and spread it in the areas that needed it.

Now the homeowner has a smooth entrance and exit on both sides of the driveway!

Yesterday, we were able to complete this job before the snow hit!

This ditch line was getting to the point of eroding the bank out so bad, that it wouldn’t be long and the road would start to go with it.

We installed an 18” dual walled culvert and lined it with 4-6” rip rap to direct the water flow and prevent further erosion.

The final product of this project actually had about 6 more feet of pipe and several more ton of rip rap to further extend the pipe and fill in the eroded area. The dirt pile to the side of the ditch was used to fill over top of some of the rip rap and give our customer an easy entrance to their yard.

First full job of 2026 is complete!

We added gravel around the house to these 2 outbuildings and dressed up around the buildings edges with a finer gravel.

Before adding gravel, we removed topsoil. These bigger gravel will create a good solid base to come back in the future and top it all with a finer gravel.

This project gives the homeowner an easy path to drive to their buildings.

Something a little different for your feed that we do! We completed this pad for a future garage build. This one had significant drop from one end to the other. We built it up in lifts, which means we would put a couple inches of gravel and then compact that layer and repeat until we were at our desired height. This process ensures that you will have a solid pad to build on and help to mitigate any future settling. It is a much different process than just spreading the gravel and leveling it out.

This driveway had several big issues. The bottom, at the garage, had all settled over time and had become a low spot, holding water and that turned to mud. There was a bit of a ditch established at the top but it had washed out and started to run into the road.

We brought in a bigger gravel to use as a base in front of the garage, cleaned the ditch up, lined it with rip rap and made sure that it didn’t run over into the driveway, then topped the entire driveway with crusher run so that it all packs in nicely and should last for a long time to come.
