Hard to believe it’s been so long since I helped my parents get 20k more on their home.

I had the privilege of helping my parents stage their home to sell a couple months ago. Their home was a small 3 bedroom home that was well lived in, updated nicely in many ways and just needed to be showcased. I was able to help them declutter, depersonalize and arrange the items that they had in a way that helped home buyers to connect to their home. We sold their home in less than 3 weeks for 22,000 over what they had anticipated they would be able to sell it for.

It is still a work in progress as they transition from their house they sold in NY to their new home in NC. When they purchased the house the walls were an interesting shade of orange, hunter green, red and mustard yellow in different rooms. To see what a neutral greige palette can do for a home is amazing! My husband and I built the pallet wall for them and my mom chose the furniture selection. Going for a rustic/ farmhouse/ industrial feel. Can't wait to see it all finished. We plan on putting a bench seat in front of the pallet wall for seating/ storage needs when you walk in the front door. An accent chair to finish off the livingroom and a few more odds and ends. I will post the finished home as soon as possible!
