We are nearing our 2026 Awards Banquet during the USRA Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway. October 3rd at 1 pm we will meet at Skyline Schools about 20 minutes from the track. We will award Series trophies and payouts, Sanction trophies for National and Track Champions, many Contingency Prizes and 2027 information. The giveaway car will also be drawn for. You do not have to be in attendance for the car drawing, but for the other prizes and trophies, you DO have to be in attendance.

Some days are remembered by a date.
This one is remembered by where we were, who we were with, and how quickly the world changed.

We remember the lives that were lost.
The families who never got to say goodbye.
The first responders who ran toward danger while everyone else was trying to get away.
The people who showed up for complete strangers.
And the thousands of lives forever changed by what happened that day.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

Shield Defense Agency is looking to add a few more qualified people to help us finish out the Lake of the Ozarks season strong.

We are currently looking for armed security contractors, especially individuals with prior law enforcement, military, or licensed security experience. We may have opportunities available as early as this weekend, with additional staffing needed for Labor Day Weekend, Bikefest, and other events throughout the remainder of the season.

Pay is $17-$20/hour depending on experience, qualifications, licensing, and assignment. These are 1099 contractor positions.

Every now and then, someone reminds you what leadership really looks like.

This weekend, Austin, our Regional Operations Manager, has worked multiple shifts at Shady Gators on very little sleep, and last night he didn’t hesitate to head to to St. Louis to make sure our other clients are taken care of. He could have easily said he was exhausted, and honestly, no one would have blamed him if he didn’t want to, but that’s just not who he is.

Austin has a servant’s heart. He leads by jumping in wherever he’s needed, never asking anyone to do something he isn’t willing to do himself. That’s the kind of lead every team hopes to have.

As the leadership team at Shield Defense Agency, we want you to know how much we appreciate you. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and neither do the sacrifices you make behind the scenes.
