Memorial Day Weekend at Shady Gators was one for the books. Tens of thousands of people came through over the weekend, and we’re proud that Shield Defense Agency was there helping keep things safe and running smoothly.

Watching our owner, Travis, work these kinds of events reminds you why experience matters. He’s spent years working large crowds, high-energy environments, and situations where staying calm and proactive makes all the difference. A lot of what makes our team successful comes directly from his leadership and the standard he sets every time we step on site.

We appreciate everyone who trusted us throughout the weekend - from the venue staff to the guests and event teams. Big events like this take a lot of coordination behind the scenes, and we’re grateful to have been part of it.

Proud of our team, proud of the work, and excited for what’s ahead.

Memorial Day means a little more than cookouts, long weekends, and time off. Today is about remembering the men and women who gave everything for this country and for people they would never even meet.

As a company built around protection and service, days like today hit differently. We know freedom is not free, and we know there are families across this country carrying the weight of unimaginable sacrifice today.

So from all of us at Shield Defense Agency, we just want to say thank you. We remember the fallen, we honor their sacrifice, and we are grateful for the lives they gave so we could live ours.

We hope everyone spends today safely, surrounded by the people they love, while taking a moment to reflect on the true meaning behind Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
