Friends, we've had an amazing last four years in business with Tutor Doctor, but March 31st, 2025 marked us closing this chapter in our lives for us.
It's been an amazing journey for us that's been full of happy tears when I get a grateful text from a family telling me their kiddo improved in math in just a few short weeks when he had zero confidence at our consultation, or an excited text or call from a tutor letting me know how in love they are with their kiddo and family they're supporting! Our families and tutors will now be taken care of by Tutor Doctor St. Peters and for that, I'm so very grateful.
Tutoring is more than just teaching and learning as we know, it's an emotional and rewarding experience with your students.
Has the last four years been a crazy dream? I can tell you that it hasn't been because in four years, 216 tutors have worked for us, and we've supported 168 families totaling 235 enrollments/re-enrollments. We've also received 57 five star Google reviews and had 612 followers on our Tutor Doctor FB page. I've spoken to hundreds of families in four years about their struggles and how we can support them and I wouldn't change a thing.
We've been so blessed and honored to be trusted with the academic journeys of our families and we've loved being an academic partner with some genius tutors.
My nickname for them in my newsletter was "tutor geniuses" because I only hired the best of the best. But mostly I only hired tutors who had huge hearts in teaching.
Our tutors have loved teaching as much as I have and that's been amazing in every way and I couldn't have asked for more from them.
Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts to our families and friends for your support!!!
Thank you to an amazingly supportive husband, Paul. I couldn't have successfully ran this franchise without you doing all my boring paperwork while I'm out on the prowl at events making friends with everyone.
My mom has also been so supportive and believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself.
Thank you to my tutor and client coordinator, Marissa, and my grant writer, Nicole, who's saved my sanity more times than they know, and have both supported me so well when I didn't even know what I needed at the time. They always did though. I had so many pictures of our journey that I couldn't even fit them all in this post.
We will also be receiving the Business of the Year Award from the Southwest Area Chamber luncheon in May. This award means the world to us! What a heck of a way to go out! Thank you so much, friends!!! ❤️❤️❤️
