Our Story
Over thirty nine years ago I had the opportunity to work for Selkirk Auction Gallery under the guidance of Bruce Selkirk. I participated in hundreds of auctions consisting of fine art and antique, gently used furniture and everyday living items. During my tenure with Bruce I gained a wonderful education in identifying the styles, periods and values of different type of family heirlooms and personal collections.
In 1988 I opened M.J.’s Consignments LLC in Clayton, Missouri and immediately began providing full service turnkey estate sales as well as maintaining the retail shop. In over the thirty one years of owning my own business I have developed many relationships with fiduciary professionals and families in need of the type of services we provide and as a result have conducted countless estate sales. In 2013 I made the difficult decision to close the shop and continue solely as M.J.’s Estate Sales LLC.
M.J.’s Estate Sales LLC has the specialized knowledge to organize, evaluate and sell the contents of any size estate. We are your solution in selecting and estate sale company who will bring you peace of mind while we handle the large and small details of the estate settlement process.
