ATTENTION ST. LOUISANS! Here's your (last minute) chance to be in a movie!

On June 9th, “Love on the Hill” will be filming at the Gateway Grizzlies stadium — and fans have the opportunity to be part of it during the Grizzlies’ special “Be in a Movie Night at the Ballpark” event.

Prime Sports MidWest is providing uniforms, equipment, and stadium signage for the filming.
Fans interested in participating must purchase the special:
“Be in a Movie Night” promotional ticket package.

At the St. Louis Film Office, we love celebrating the talented creatives who make our city’s production scene shine!🎥🌟 This month, we’re spotlighting Jessica Wernli of On Location St. Louis.

She came into the film world through her roots in community organizing and bringing people, spaces and vision together. Location management allows her to lean into her creativity and connect filmmakers to spaces that bring their visions to life. From grassroots projects to larger productions, she is passionate about creating opportunities that lift both creatives and community.

🎬 The St. Louis Film Office is happy to announce that there is going to be an official St. Louis area premiere for "The Mortuary Assistant” this coming Friday the 13th!

📽️ The film was shot in Missouri in 2025 and is now playing in theaters. Many members of the predominantly Missouri-based crew were local professionals, including Missouri Registered Apprentices who participated in the Film in MO Apprentice Program.

🍿 The special screening takes place at Ratterman Theatres in O’Fallon at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. This will be a true premiere-style event, complete with spotlights out front and some authentic mortuary items displayed inside the theater.

🎟️ Tickets are available through the Ratterman Theatre's website for the premiere as well as additional showings throughout the following week.
