Another Great Box Build Off in the books! 📦🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who donated or stopped by to talk with us about the event. Your support made this service project even more meaningful.

While our two nights in cardboard shelters were temporary, homelessness is an everyday reality for many veterans across the country. GBBO is a special way for our brotherhood to raise awareness and support those who have served. Thank you for helping us make a difference.

🇺🇸 GREAT BOX BUILD OFF 2026 🇺🇸

October 8th–10th, the Pi-Eta Chapter of Kappa Sigma will spend 48 hours outside on the Oval at MSSU for our annual Great Box Build Off.

For two nights, our members will sleep in cardboard box forts as we raise awareness and support for homeless and disabled veterans. Throughout the 48 hours, we’ll also be collecting canned food for our local community and raising money for Kappa Sigma’s Military Heroes Campaign.

This event isn’t about us. It’s about honoring the men and women who served and sacrificed for the freedoms we have today. 🇺🇸

Every donation, canned food item, and share helps us make an impact.

Today, Kappa Sigma visited local emergency services and delivered donuts as a small token of our appreciation.

On this 9/11, we remember those we lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and thank the first responders who continue to serve our communities every day. 🇺🇸

We will never forget.
