When Abbie reached out, she had a clear vision for her business–she wanted to spend more time in her zone of genius: speaking and coaching women on how to transform stress management from a concept they understand into a skill they can access in real time.

She wanted to better leverage her software tools and automation to free up her time, but she wasn’t entirely sure where to start.

Enter our Operations Uplevel. 👋

We started by mapping out her entire client journey–and used that process to also design her ideal client experience, from the moment someone reaches out all the way through gathering feedback at the end of an engagement.

With every touchpoint defined, we worked together to build the templates and assets to support it: welcome emails, intake questionnaires, proposals, feedback forms, and more. From there, we coached Abbie on how to leverage her CRM to manage and automate the steps of her client journey.

The result? A client experience that works as hard as she does–and a foundation she can build on as her business grows. 💃🏽

We loved working with Abbie to support the amazing work she’s doing in the world. If you’d like to learn more about that work, give her a follow at Embody by Abbie.

When problems start mounting and creating friction in your operations, you often need an outside perspective from someone who isn’t involved in the day-to-day.

Someone who can zoom out, ask questions, and think through solutions you may not be thinking of.

An example of how we see this show up in our work: when business owners think they need new software, when in reality, they actually need to define their processes first.

With their processes defined, it’s easier to determine if the issue is a software/systems issue, or rather, is something that can be fixed at the habit or process level.

Also, once your processes are defined, the software selection process becomes easy. You’ll be able to:

🔸 See which features are needed to support your processes
🔸 Use your processes as a software setup roadmap
🔸 Receive proper support by sharing your roadmap with the software support team

As an added bonus, you’ll also be equipped to document your processes, which makes it easier to delegate them to team members.

Sometimes the solution isn't in front of us–but with the right support, it’s within reach.

So many small businesses unintentionally turn into chaos factories.

We’ve found that the reason for this is often that the owner is a visionary, and they are focused on taking action steps toward bringing the vision to life, not on setting up the necessary infrastructure to support it.

That works for a while–until it doesn’t. And that’s where we come in as operations advisors who:

🔸 Meet you where you’re at
🔸 Leave the judgment at the door
🔸 Empower you with the knowledge and training to maintain what we recommend–no long-term retainers needed

You built the business. Now let's build the systems to support it.

Business has been chaotic lately.

We keep finding ourselves using an old lesson from driver’s education class about hydroplaning to share perspective on how to regain control when it feels like things are spinning out.

Can you relate? Slow down and get some quick wins with an Operations Sprint!

Scaling and growing aren't the same.

Scaling = increasing efficiency and profitability
Growing = increasing costs to operate

What most business owners miss: capital can't overcome barriers created by a lack of solid habits, processes, and systems. But habits, processes, and systems CAN overcome many barriers created by a lack of capital.

Because capital is the limiting factor in most businesses, we advocate for scaling – making it more efficient and profitable – before attempting to grow.

The way we navigate change is mostly automatic and runs behind the scenes of our awareness.

In other words, we respond in ways we don’t even realize.

That’s why we love the Habit Story assessment. It helps us dig into the “stories we tell ourselves,” which drive our automatic responses.

And the best part is that everything can be changed once you have an awareness of how you’re showing up. 🤯

We’re retiring our Habit Story-focused People Services as standalone offerings after Q1, so if you’ve wanted to take the Habit Story assessment personally or with your team, book a Discovery Call so we can chat!

Today, we visited 1 Million Cups in Springfield, Missouri, and I had the honor of being interviewed by Trina from Run It Studios after our presentation. What a fun way to wrap up a 1 MC presentation!

Systems organize your processes—but if your processes aren't clearly defined, building systems won't fix what's broken. It'll just amplify the chaos.

Before you build systems, get clear on what you're actually trying to achieve. Define your processes. Identify who owns each one. Then—and only then—build the systems to support them.
