While some days it seems like there is less innovation happening in our world, there are glimmers of hope that come along and show us that all is not lost. There is an interesting fluidity in the auto industry right now that certainly can be confusing at times. From a number of perspectives the Crypto Sector has continued to be interesting as it unfolds. We have been of the opinion for some time that because it has gained large global investment and advancement in the technology of how payments are processed, the geopolitical players have the ability to move markets. Regulation, fair value, speculation and mining opportunities will give many global governments an opportunity to use it for profit and even weaponize it when necessary. The various blockchains and the fintech businesses will continue to grow and mature while we continue to see large swings in the prices of the various cryptocurrencies.

One thing we constantly focus on with our startup clients is to never get ahead of yourself and always be truthful. This sounds like a very easy and simple concept, but when you are selling a dream to the world and some of the largest investors on the planet as humans it can be easy to sell a bit more of the dream than is reality. As a founder you have to be extremely careful not to get ahead of the reality. Most if not all investors understand that product development takes time. When you are focused on disrupting an industry, there is a balance that you have to live. It has to become so ingrained in your thinking that very few can do it successfully. I hope that Nikola will pull through as a company and for the needed competition across the industry.
