Hmm. Thinking out loud here, but if I were to offer completed tiny house shells (framing, strong ties, sheathing, and tyvek attached to the trailer) along with the interior framing, would anyone be interested in this service? Most are offering this for 20k...I know I can do this for 12-15k within a month (a bit longer if there's a ton of rain), aaaand do it correctly. So. Just a shout out to see if there's any interest!

(I should stress, to avoid confusion, that this is for the SHELL, not a finished tiny house...a finished house is usually 65-85k, and I am in no way interested in interior customization! The inside will be open and unfinished, and the outside will not include siding. This is the majority of the work, and will allow you to customize a structurally stable shell!)

Ok, so...the tiny house segment won't be on the news tomorrow due to some other story bumping it. They're going to keep me posted on the new air date, so I'll let all of you know when I find out more!

Sooo, as of right now, a story on me and the tiny house will be on St. Louis channel 5 news this Saturday (18th) at 10 pm! Yay! If you'd like to see the finished product, you should check it out!

(I think my lovely dog Avery will be included in the story as well. So, cute old doggie AND tiny house!)

It's official! The dates have been confirmed...

July 9 & 10, I'll be holding a tiny house workshop in St Louis! This workshop will cover the basics of tiny house building/planning, as well as how to circumvent/avoid some of the odd issues going on in the tiny house world (zoning, licensing, etc). My goal is to share with you so your path to tiny living is much smoother than my own was!

Stay tuned...the workshop will be limited to 25 participants to allow for plenty of personalized topic discussion - registration and a detailed topic list should open next week!

(This workshop is geared largely toward those with no previous building experience, but all are welcome!)
