Most business gurus talk about "dominating the market" like they’re playing a game of Risk. They want to be the last one standing.
I don't. Here’s why:
In a local community, we are on the same team. Monopolies are bad for everyone—they breed laziness, greed, and a lack of service. When you use AI to become a "Giant Slayer," the goal isn't to put the other local shops out of business.
The goal is to raise the bar.
When you use AI to provide better service, you challenge others to do the same.
When you use AI to give your staff 3-day weekends, you show other owners that "People over Profit" actually works.
When you use AI to stay profitable without overcharging, you protect your neighbors.
The "Enough" Economy: If AI buys you extra time and money, don't just use it to buy more "territory." Use it to deepen your roots. Support the local little league. Mentor a young entrepreneur. Be a business that the community would actually miss if it were gone.
Greed blinds. Stewardship builds. Let’s build something that lasts.
