Another little bit of information concerning these towing companies on private property. Gentleman just contacted us trying to get in touch with MSU towing because they put a boot on his daughter’s car.
First off the towing companies are supposed to be removing illegally parked cars not putting boots on the wheels making it impossible for the people to leave.
Second if I couldn’t get in touch with the company that did that to pay my fine and get it removed I would get a saw or grinder and cut it off of my car myself. These companies have no rights to hold you car at any time.
Everyone is saying the same stuff about this MSU towing group concerning contacting them and getting people to answer the phone so they can get their cars back.
If yall will find a way to file civil suits against a towing company for these types of actions make sure you sue the apartment complex or property owners as well. They are completely accountable for the companies they bring into the property to enforce the parking rules.

Has anyone ever heard of starkville towing? They supposedly towed several cars from the store on blackjack and now no one can find them to get their cars back.

To anyone being called into sunset subdivision to remove old cars. You better make sure the person requesting it has a title or registration to the car they are wanting hauled off. People are trying to get cars moved that don’t belong to them. Cars sitting at abandoned house that they have nothing to do with.
Don’t get yourself in trouble in that area.

We have been called twice this week and that was the case.

Our driver talked to me about an incident yesterday he witnessed at an accident scene. The driver of the car that got ran into from behind went to the driver of the car that hit them and asked them if they had any money in their pocket they were going to give them. This is a real sorry person trying to extort money from someone at an accident scene.
We want to let everyone know not to ever give anyone money at an accident scene and don't ever feel like that is something you are supposed to do or you are obligated to do. That could possibly used against the person giving the money.
We would also advise everyone to start recording using their phones as soon as you get out of your car. Just to make sure you have everything documented prior to law enforcement arriving. This will keep the facts of the incident on record. People are now changing their stories after they leave the accident scene or after law enforcement gets there.
Please make sure you do your best at that time to protect yourself from liabilities. There are so many uninsured drivers in the state of MS and nothing is being done about it. Uninsured drivers should go straight to jail based on the value of property damage that was done and personal injury caused to other parties.
We have worked two fatalities where an uninsured driver caused the accident. Someone lost their life because a car was on the road that was not legally supposed to be there.

Are they calling the road work on new light complete?
I would hope not since there are several big bumps and drops in the transition areas from new to old.

This is the biggest clown show that could have been contracted to do the work on new light road. What kind of planning shuts the whole road down at 7:30 in the morning while everyone is going and coming from work. The professionals do one lane at a time so everyone still has access to the road.
In case no one knows there are a lot of people that live out here and have to use this road everyday all day long. Life doesn’t shut down when the county decides to do road work. We appreciate it however there has to be a better plan than this.
Like I said a complete clown show from this paving company and whomever is not making them leave this road open for transit.
