Ok it’s time to rebuild PetPal Rescue Manager from the ground up. Version 3 will work out the kinks in V2 and add more record keeping features.

Version 3 will be ‘free’ for rescues with a one time fee of $10 just to make sure serious rescues are interested in using the app. If you have paid for V2 this year, it will be the last fee you’ll be charged.

In addition, Version 3 will launch with a new version of PetShow and a mobile TNR app. If you would like to help fund the development of version 3, please consider joining the patreon Account to help pay for the maintenance and dedicated development.

PetPal Rescue Manager is adopting Google's clean and easy Material Design layout which includes large add record buttons. Clicking these oversized buttons allows you to add records or be given options to add different types of records.

I started to upgrade the framework that PetPal Rescue Manager is in to increase the functionality and started going through the bugs to get a large chunk of them finished this week. Upgrading all the code as I go and making sure that missing information is not throwing an error like it has in the past. Also doing more validation on the forms so information isnt missing. Also working on a new front end site to show people the new version and the demo

Working on PetPal Rescue Manager 2.5 which is a complete overhaul of existing section to get all the bugs fixed and add in some requested functionality. The URL will be changing when the updates are launched and there will be a redirect from the rescue.petpalmanager.com to petpalmanager.com/rescue to login.

I am currently working on bugs in the pets section (and including medical, shots, medications) and in the finance area. This 2.5 version should address all the short comings of the new version and get the platform stable again

Starting Feburary 1st, each section of PetPal Rescue Manager is getting a rebuild to finally fix all the bugs and issues, starting with users and pet records. Still working on the bug list and need your follow up input after I post on your bug report for more info or if the bug is fixed. Thanks and I'm looking forward to getting all the bugs fixed soon

I'm updating all the files on the server to restore the record keeping. There was an error on a cache server that caused issues so I am updating all the files to get it fixed

Ok, we're two days away from having nightly to-do emails make their comeback. Check your user profile and update your 'Receive Nightly Todo Emails' to yes and update your email addresses if you wish to start receiving them Monday morning.

Each email will include those for the day and those that are past due.

Ok, now cloning pets includes the pet's record with a modified name, all the medical records, medications, intake tests, and shot records. Each record is individual to that new pet so you can modify or delete them without affecting the others.

This weeks goals (in addition to bug fixes and import data) is a site search which searches your pets, people, locations, a dedicated pet search in the pet records section, a dedicated microchip search in microchips, fixing the filtering of microchips now that the list seems to be working again, incident reports coming back, nightly to do emails, adding vets to hospitals for medical drop downs, and being able to copy pets, images, and complete medical records for cloning and transfers.

Also, does anyone want to do a network where you can search all pets by breed(s), gender, age, and distance by zip code to find pets from other rescues to match adopters with pets?
