On a bluebird day
five weeks before May
four friends on Cardinals
went out to play

There was still plenty of snow
all over Stowe
so the four friends on Parlors
sure put on a good show..

They harvested corn,
starting late in the morn,
just three months after
baby Winter was born.

It was Easter Eve,
if you can even believe,
and the turns they were ripping
were almost too good to conceive.

Though the conditions were amazing,
and the sun was blazing,
it was the handcrafted skis from Boston,
that really had them razing.

Their photographer was thrilled
that her hands weren't chilled,
on this beautiful day of shooting,
where everyone's heart was filled.

They went to bed that night
after skiing & tailgating with all their mite,
and had sweet dreams of Parlors
until the Cardinal chirped in the morning light.
