This incredible project from our partners at Forecast Energy showcases just how scalable the EG4 ecosystem can be. Featuring 4 EG4 GridBOSS units, 8 EG4 FlexBOSS21 inverters, and 32 EG4 WallMount batteries, this installation delivers 96 kW of output and more than 450 kWh of storage, creating a true microgrid solution for this church and its surrounding community.

More than just backup power, this system was designed to serve as a resiliency hub during wildfire events, helping provide heating, cooling, clean air, and reliable power for critical devices when the community needs it most.

Forecast Energy and their project partner, MZ Consulting, were able to perform all of the engineering and installation of the project, using their expertise to save considerable cost for the church by leveraging EG4 equipment to build out this solution as opposed to purchasing a pre-fabricated BESS. The whole project was made possible through the pastor’s daughter, a high school student, who saw the need for her community and applied for the grant and developed the project!
