Breech will find its way into your practice. Will you be ready?
Breech presentations occur in 3–4% of term pregnancies. And up to 35% go undetected until labor. That means no matter how thorough your palpations, no matter how often you scan — breech will find its way into your practice. It’s not a matter of if. It’s a matter of when.
Our course Emergency Breech Birth — a 4-CEU workshop adapted from a live seminar, designed to make sure that when this moment comes, you’re not scrambling.

Let’s talk ✋🏽💕

Can midwives help reduce C-section rates? 🤔

Before continuous fetal monitoring was introduced, the C-section rate was under 5%. The moment we started using these machines — that rate doubled. And it has only continued to climb ever since.

Here’s the thing: doctors are trained to look for what’s going wrong. But birth isn’t wrong. Birth is natural. 💕

So why are we seeing record-high intervention rates? And what does midwifery care have to do with the solution?

In this video, of Maven Clinic breaks down what these numbers really mean, why we’re talking about it NOW, and why more families are leaning toward midwifery care for a safer, more supported birth experience.

Ignoring one of the largest maternal health disparities in this country while launching a national maternal health initiative is anti-science and racist.

A midwife’s job is not to keep you home at all costs.💥 It’s to keep you and your baby safe.

The goal is not to”never transfer.” The goal is safe, skilled, attentive care from someone who knows when birth needs a different setting and we do this with thorough explanation because we also consider your nervous system. 💛

A transfer handled well can still feel calm, respectful, and deeply supported. ✨

What other questions do you have about home to hospital transfers?
