WE’RE HIRING: PART-TIME SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR / CONTENT CREATOR
BarnLight Studios is looking for a proactive, creative, social-savvy content creator to help shape and grow our digital presence.
We’re seeking someone who understands content strategy, KPIs, CTAs, and performance-driven storytelling, but also genuinely loves creating content, staying ahead of trends, and is deeply plugged into social media and digital culture. If brainstorming fun content ideas, BTS concepts, in-person shoots, and creative ways to grow a brand genuinely excites you, this could be a great fit. We want this to be your passion!
IDEAL FIT:
• Local in or near Sussex County, NJ (required)
• Available for 1–2 in-person days/week for BTS content capture (remaining hours can be remote)
• Available and responsive during standard EST business hours
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging social platforms
• Hands-on experience with social editing tools, short-form content creation, trend-driven content, consistent daily posting, and platform best practices
• Proven content creator with strong engagement instincts and channel growth experience
• Comfortable on camera with the confidence, personality, and presence to be the social face and voice of BarnLight
• Genuine love for film, entertainment, storytelling, and an understanding of next-generation media / where the industry is headed
• Experience working in an early-stage startup or fast-moving entrepreneurial environment where initiative and adaptability are essential
• Proactive, organized, self-motivated, highly consistent, and comfortable multitasking
• Familiarity with Asana, scheduling tools, and content planning workflows is a plus
