Our postcard landed in North Syracuse mailboxes, and I want to say THANK YOU to the businesses and neighbors who make The Hangry Neighbor possible!

Nearly two years and more than 20 postcards later, I’m grateful to every business that’s trusted me with their advertising, print projects, and websites. There is no shortage of hard working business owners in CNY!

Being local is not the same as being visible.

The postcards pictured are previous editions of The Hangry Neighbor. Each 9-by-12-inch card brings local businesses from different industries together on one oversized mailer headed to neighborhood homes.

The next North Syracuse mailing is planned for September 25, reaching 2,500 homes. I handle the ad design, printing and postage. You bring the offer, service or message your neighbors should remember.

What do people recognize first about your business?

The name, the logo, the truck, the person behind the counter?

It is easy to spend time getting colors and layouts right, but sometimes the detail people remember is something you barely think about. The same shirt you wear to every job. The sign that's been out front for years.

Will another business in my industry be on the same postcard?

No. The Hangry Neighbor includes one business per industry on each card.

For the September 25 North Syracuse delivery, that means your category gets one place on the postcard going to 2,500 homes. Categories are first come, first served and secured after payment.

Text your business type to 315-897-2257. We'll check whether the category is available before you start working on an ad.

You don't need a finished ad to talk to us.

A logo, your contact information and an idea of what you want to promote are a good start. We help put the ad together, send you a proof to review, then handle printing and postage.

Several local businesses share the postcard and the mailing cost. Each gets its own ad, with one business per industry on the card.

Tell us where you work. We'll help you look at the mailing options for that area.
