Spaceworks Tacoma is a joint initiative of the

City of Tacoma and the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber designed to activate empty storefronts and vacant space in Tacoma. The initiative makes no- and low-cost temporary space, training, and technical assistance available to artists, creative entrepreneurs, organizations, and community groups in order to nurture successful projects that transform Tacoma into a stronger, more active city.

On this day 11 years ago, I was posting about the 8th group we had done for the .honest.loved.project

Many of you continue to approach me about bringing this back and I cannot thank you enough for those comments. I really truly am planning to bring it back…it’s just overwhelming in all the ways, so it takes some time. I absolutely welcome any help/advice/direction/resources you may be able to provide in getting this heart project of mine back off the ground. So, if you’re one of those people that was impacted and would like to see it rolling again, especially in the state of this damn country right now 😑, please reach out. I appreciate all of you who started the ride with me back in 2013 and held strong for all 15 groups we accomplished. Time for a 16th! And maybe prime time for a coffee table book..??

Hey guys, I’m going to be assisting Ebony Morris with a fundraiser that The New Frontier Lounge will be putting on to further the support for Daniel and the Howdy crew after Jake’s senseless murder. These guys have been nothing but the sweetest, most positive members of our community and deserve every bit of support we can offer.

Hi! It's been a real hot minute since I've posted here - attribute that to just livin life and not prioritizing sharing/marketing, because I am THE WORST at that.
In any case, I still exist! Maybe I'll share some other things that I've shot in the last year or so of capturing people's lives, but for now I want to share these...

It was my honor to be asked to capture an awesome event that was put on the other night by Rachelle Tichy and sponsored by Oasis Youth Center here in Tacoma - this event was held for LGBTQ+ youth and allies between the ages of 11-15 to provide a safe space in which they could dance, make crafts, and just enjoy each other's company in an inclusive and fun environment at Real Art Tacoma! The night was hosted by the talented and lovely Lavinda.Lyfe who artfully engaged with everyone in some awesome photos! Please feel free to tag yourself and your friends!
