Because of your phone calls and advocacy yesterday, Boys State and Girls State funding was INCLUDED in the final state budget headed to Governor Ron DeSantis.

Our organization is mighty when we work together. Thank you for fighting for these life-changing youth leadership programs and the future leaders of Florida.

The funding isn't official, yet. We now await the Governor’s signature. 🇺🇸

Great Legislation!

Today, the Florida Senate unanimously passed legislation to create the Florida Veterans' History Program and name it in honor of the life and legacy of local hero and decorated WWII veteran Major John Haynes. This was my top priority this session and I appreciate the strong support of my colleagues. I was also proud to work with Senator Jay Collins to amend the bill to include a number of other important policies to benefit Florida's veterans. I look forward to seeing it pass the Florida House soon and thank Reps. Alvarez and Redondo for their work to support our state's heroes!

Great Legislation! Anyone who knows the history of Communism realizes how evil it has always been and will always be. Just google "Holodomor" for an example many don't know about. There are hundreds of other examples.
