I have been quiet. I’ve been at SxSW (x means by) for eight days. Today I finished 56 hours of work for a platinum badge. Now I will be able to attend everything.

This international conference in Austin, TX attracts several thousand people from around the world. Each year, SXSW brings together creatives and industry leaders for 9 days of discovery across a variety of events including Sessions, Keynotes, Film & TV Festival, Music Festival, Comedy Festival, Competitions and awards,
Exhibitions, and much more.

Those work hours and a 30-minute walk each way in downtown Austin explain why I fall asleep so quickly in the evening. I am astounded to have awakened in the hours before dawn and managed to report to the Austin Civic Center at the required 8 am time.
