That was fast… 😬

Any PIOs available?

And that’s how you magically ended up being the closest unit to the sh*tshow 20 minutes before shift change. 😂 🚔

Thank you to all First Responders and everyone responding in the aftermath of the hurricane.🌀

A special shoutout to the call takers and Emergency Dispatchers handling the enormous amount of incoming calls.

For everyone calling 911 requesting a welfare check on family members, please try to be patient as calls are prioritized and communications come back online.

Be safe everyone!

This is a Law Enforcement leader!

Great job Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.

No wonder he’s got a full staff!

Not a career related post but this story is all over the socials..

I’m Team Dodgers fan on this one, how about you?

Maybe if they would’ve played a sad song as they panned over to the child 🤷‍♂️ 😂

📣 PSA

*Actually, this is an old rule reminder ☝🏼

𝑰𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 “𝒃𝒖𝒔” 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏’, 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒂 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏’. 🚑

I mean, congrats.. but perhaps a less insinuative headline would have been better? 😆

Interesting survey conducted by Lexipol.

The survey drew 915 responses from law enforcement, fire, EMS, and corrections.

I wish they had included 911 because I know they are severely understaffed in most areas.

This part… 😬
“While 78% of respondents say their agency is prepared for typical calls, that number falls to 38% for legal/regulatory changes and to 22% for major operational disruptions. Only 8% say they are extremely confident in their agency’s ability to respond to evolving challenges such as emerging incident types and new risks.”

Remember.. this is not just Police. This is also Fire & EMS. 🚒🚑🚨

How can we address this?

Hey folks, if you lost your 18 kilos of coke in or around Brevard County, contact Sheriff Ivey.. He’s a good dude and is eager to return your stuff!

🚔

THE BREVARD COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS ATTEMPTING TO RETURN LOST ITEMS TO IT’S OWNER…

If you happened to have lost or accidentally misplaced 18 kilos of co***ne and would like to have your property returned, please contact us at the below number and we will be more than happy to reunite you with your lost property!!

All of us at one point or another in our lives have lost or misplaced something important and are always hopeful that a good samaritan or an incredibly kind person will find our lost item and do the right thing by returning it to it’s rightful owner.

Well since at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office we always strive to do the right thing, our Narcotics Agents are trying to identify the rightful owner of the 18 kilos of co***ne pictured below that inadvertently fell off the back of someone’s boat as they were apparently enjoying a leisurely stroll along the beautiful coastline and beaches of Brevard County!!

Thankfully the kilos were in watertight packaging and are brilliantly branded by the cartel for marketing purposes with a very stoic looking jaguar on each package which makes them easily identifiable and ready to be reclaimed!!

The lost items were thankfully discovered by a passerby who in an effort to do the right thing contacted our agency and turned it in!! So in keeping with the theme of doing the right thing we feel it’s important to try and identify the rightful owner of the property!! I mean it’s the very least we can do, especially since it seems so expensive and we are pretty sure that the rightful owners would just kill to get it back!!

So if the 18 kilos of coke belongs to you, all we need you to do is come down to our Criminal Investigative Services building in Rockledge and claim your property with absolutely no strings attached!! That’s right…no strings attached as once we properly identify you as the rightful owner we will gladly return your property and also make sure that both you and your property are kept in a secure area so that no one can try to rip you off!!

In fact, we are so excited to return something this valuable to its rightful owner that we are also going to throw in an all expenses paid extensive “staycation” at “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” so that you can reflect for a while on exactly how much your lost property means to you!!

Like my Dad always said…doing the right thing is always right so help us return your lost and extremely valuable property by calling the number listed below!!

Sheriff Wayne Ivey
