I'm a Suncoast Emmy-nominated producer for Triumph: Tampa's Untold Story on WEDU PBS

I found out this weekend while waiting in line for breakfast in downtown Tampa. Across the street from the F.W. Woolworth building, the place our documentary is about. No coincidence.

The film tells the story of how Tampa desegregated. I got to help tell it with an integrated crew which is only possible because of the people who came before me. They sat down, stood up, and risked everything. This nomination belongs to them.

This is the work I care about at GRN HAUS Studio. Telling true stories with intention, and building creative spaces where people can do their best work.

Every product tells a story - sometimes it just needs the right light to tell it.

This carousel was shot for , a jewelry brand that wanted their product photography to feel like an editorial, not a catalog. Warm, saturated tones. Documentary-style direction. A business owner who understood the assignment.

A soft launch at www.grnhaus.studio, streamlined to the work the studio actually offers. It goes up today, on Juneteenth, with respect for everything the day carries.

GRN HAUS is a studio built for sustainable creativity, for making good work without giving yourself away to it. That's a kind of freedom, and it's why today matters. Juneteenth marks a freedom that arrived late and was claimed anyway. We don't take lightly what the day carries. We chose it on purpose, as the day this work steps into the open.

I’m proud to share that Maya B. Creative is now supported by my "Mental Health First Aid" certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

This certification is deeply personal, rooted in my own experience navigating mental health challenges in the entertainment industry. It strengthens the way I lead, collaborate, and show up on set, ensuring that the teams I work with have someone trained to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges and provide initial support when it’s needed most.

In an industry defined by long hours, disrupted circadian rhythms, and high-pressure environments, we often push through at all costs, even when sometimes it’s best that the show not go on. By prioritizing well-being on set, Maya B. Creative can help create a safer, more sustainable experience for everyone involved.
