I made this hidden compartment box for a raffle donation last weekend. The original pattern is from (thank you!). I'm still tweaking it to make it my own with some specific features and possibly make it a bit bigger, but I cut all of the bookboard on the F2 Ultra UV and I'm excited to make a final template so I can cut the boards whenever I'm ready to make a box or teach a class.

It also reminded me that I need to replenish my book cloth selection...

I couldn't spend my birthday in Japan, but the Shiki-Sai Itzikaya in the Japanese Pavillion at Epcot brought the love. And I got my okonomiyaki. Arigato, Yurika-san!

We donated trees to the Tewksbury Together and We're One Wilmington Festivals of Trees this year. Each tree is decorated with all handmade ornaments (and candy canes) and comes with a free recycled papermaking workshop for SIX. It’s so fun to do it with a group!

The Tewksbury Together Festival is today until 4:30 at the Tewksbury State Hospital Chapel.

The WOW Festival Trees is at Villanova Hall, 126 Midddlesex Ave, Wilmington, until noon tomorrow. There are so many beautiful trees and the proceeds go to wonderful causes. Go win yourself a tree!

At one of my favorite places () this week doing one of my favorite things (marbling) with some of my favorite teachers (). We made some traditional watercolor paints for marbling, and now we're learning some new-to-me traditional patterns. I'm tired, and my feet are sore, but this is bliss. And shoutout to for the incredible food.

And, yeah, I skimped on the pics because I'm busy splattering paint. But look at that gorgeous indigo paint! 👀
