✨ A little session payment update! ✨

We know every family’s budgeting style is different, so we’re excited to offer a few more ways to pay ahead for your Home Reset or Power Hour sessions. 💙

Families may now choose to pay:

🩵 1 Week Ahead (our current option)
🩵 2 Weeks Ahead
🩵 Full Month Ahead

As always, sessions are secured by paying the weekend before the scheduled sessions included in your chosen payment schedule.

Our hope is simply to make budgeting for household support a little easier and more flexible for the families we serve.

If you’d like to switch to biweekly or monthly pay-ahead, just send me a message and I’d be happy to update your account! 🫶🏻

Same Mom. Different Season.
Part 2: Self-Care

One of the biggest differences between surviving, stabilizing, stewarding, and thriving isn’t whether you care about yourself.

It’s how much capacity you have LEFT to care for yourself.

In survival, self-care feels impossible.

A shower feels like a luxury.
You realize it’s 3:00 p.m. and you haven’t eaten lunch.
You collapse into bed without brushing your teeth because you gave everything you had to everyone else.

You’re not failing.

You’re depleted.

In stabilization, you begin meeting your own basic needs again.

You remember your water bottle.
You schedule a doctor’s appointment you’ve been putting off.
You take a shower before you absolutely have to.

Not because life suddenly got easier…

Because you’re slowly creating enough margin to breathe.

In stewardship, self-care becomes intentional instead of accidental.

You go for a walk because you know it helps your mood.
You meal prep because future-you deserves support.
You protect your bedtime.
You say “no” to things that consistently drain you.

You’re caring for yourself because you’ve learned your well-being affects everyone you love.

And in thriving?

Self-care isn’t another item on your to-do list.

It’s simply part of how you live.

You read a book because you enjoy it.
You laugh with a friend.
You take a bath without feeling guilty.
You pursue hobbies that remind you who you are outside of motherhood.

Not because you love your family any less…

Because you’ve finally realized that taking care of yourself allows you to love them even better.

The goal isn’t to become a mom who has it all together.

The goal is to build a life where caring for yourself no longer feels like something you have to earn.

💙 Which season feels most like you right now?

Same Mom. Different Season.
Part 1: The Mental Load

One of the biggest differences between surviving, stabilizing, stewarding, and thriving isn’t how much you love your family.

It’s how much mental space you have left.

In survival, your brain is constantly putting out fires.

“What did I forget?”
“Who’s overdue for what?”
“What’s for dinner?”
“I can’t let that ball drop.”

You feel like if you stop thinking about something for five minutes, it’ll disappear forever.

In stabilization, you’re creating systems because you can’t keep carrying it all in your head anymore.

You start using a family calendar.
You keep a running grocery list.
You finally make a place for school papers.

Not because you’re suddenly organized…
Because your brain needs somewhere safe to set things down.

In stewardship, those systems begin carrying some of the weight for you.

The calendar reminds you.
The grocery list is already started.
Your keys always go in the same place.

Your home starts remembering things so your brain doesn’t have to.

And in thriving?

You have enough mental space to notice your child telling you a story without simultaneously planning dinner.

You drink your coffee while it’s still warm.

You dream again.

Not because life became easier…
Because your mind isn’t consumed by remembering every little thing.

The goal isn’t to become a “better mom.”

The goal is to reduce the invisible weight you’re carrying so you have more of you left for the people you love.

💙 Which season are you in right now?

🏡 The Same Mom, Different Season

Over the next few weeks, I’d love to share a framework that has completely changed how I view homes, motherhood, and personal growth.

It’s something I’ve observed through my own lived experience, through supporting hundreds of moms in their homes, and through rebuilding my own life season by season.

✨ Survival → Stabilization → Stewardship → Thriving ✨

For years, I thought my goal was to become more disciplined, organized, and productive.

What I’ve learned is that many of us aren’t struggling because we’re failing.

We’re struggling because we’re operating from different levels of capacity.

A mom in survival mode may struggle to keep up with dishes, laundry, meals, appointments, and routines.

That doesn’t mean she’s lazy.

It means her energy is being spent getting through the day.

As capacity increases, something beautiful happens:

✨ We move from reacting to planning.
✨ From planning to leading.
✨ From leading to creating.

The same mom who once felt overwhelmed by dinner can eventually meal plan.

The same mom who once felt buried in laundry can eventually build systems.

The same mom who once couldn’t imagine having time for herself can eventually find room for hobbies, dreams, exercise, creativity, and connection again.

The goal isn’t perfection.

The goal is understanding where you’re operating from so you can support yourself with compassion instead of criticism.

Because the strategies that help a mom in survival mode are very different from the strategies that help a mom who is already thriving.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing examples of what these seasons can look like in everyday life.

💙 I’d love to know: Which season do you feel you’re currently in?

🍲 Busy Mom Lunch Hacks 🍲

You know what’s better than meal prepping an entire week’s worth of lunches?

Using what you’re already making for dinner.

Whenever I make taco meat, hamburger, chicken, chickpeas, or another protein for dinner, I set aside a small portion for myself before serving the meal.

The next day, lunch takes about 2-3 minutes to throw together:

🥣 Minute Rice

🥩 Leftover protein

🥄 Sour cream

🌶️ Sriracha

🥚 Optional: Add a microwave egg for even more protein. Crack an egg into a microwave-safe bowl, cover with a plate, microwave for about 60 seconds, scramble, and mix it in.

That’s it.

No extra cooking.
No drive-thru.
No standing in front of the fridge wondering what to eat.

Another thing that’s been helping me lately? Packing myself a quick bento lunch box just like I do for my son.

I try to include a few simple food groups:

🍓 Fruit
🥕 Veggies
🧀 Protein/Fat
🥨 Carb or Treat

Think homemade Lunchable-style lunches: crackers, cheese, ham, berries, carrot sticks, chocolate-covered pretzels—whatever you have on hand.

When I’m running from one thing to the next, it helps me make sure I’m feeding myself, too. Pair it with my protein coffee and I’m good to go! ☕💙

One of the easiest ways to eat better as a busy mom is to stop treating lunch like a completely separate meal you have to figure out every day.

And mama? Do for yourself what you do for your kids.

Pack yourself a lunch.
Feed yourself nourishing foods.
Make it easy to succeed.

They need you healthy, too. 🫶🏻

What’s your favorite “survival lunch” when life gets busy? I’d love to hear it!

Today I spent time going through my own wardrobe and found several pieces I had completely forgotten I owned.

Not because I didn’t like them.

Not because they didn’t fit.

Simply because I couldn’t see them.

It reminded me of a decluttering mindset I’ve been using lately:

If I were moving into a fresh start sanctuary tomorrow, would I choose to bring this with me?

You don’t have to be moving to benefit from this question.

Sometimes it helps us stop looking at our possessions through the lens of guilt, sunk cost, or “maybe someday” and instead evaluate them through the lens of the life we’re building now.

And sometimes the solution isn’t getting rid of something at all.

Sometimes we simply need better visibility.

✨ Store taller items behind shorter items.

✨ Roll or fold clothing vertically so you can see every item at a glance.

✨ Avoid stacking whenever possible, since stacks tend to hide what is underneath.

We can’t regularly use what we can’t regularly see.

Creating a peaceful home isn’t always about owning less.

Sometimes it’s about making what you already own visible, accessible, and easy to enjoy again. 💙

Over the past several months, the response to Busy Mom Solutions has honestly been beyond anything I could have ever imagined. 💙

What started as one overwhelmed mama trying to help other overwhelmed mamas create calmer, more functional homes has grown into something so meaningful — and I am deeply grateful for every family who has trusted us in their homes.

As we continue growing, I’ve been reflecting carefully on what kind of company I want Busy Mom Solutions to be long-term. One thing that matters deeply to me is making sure the families already under our care continue receiving thoughtful, high-quality, personalized support — not rushed growth at the expense of sustainability.

Because of that, we will be temporarily pausing new client onboarding while we focus on serving our current families well, strengthening our systems, and allowing space for healthy, intentional growth moving forward. 🤍

If you are interested in working with us in the future, I would still absolutely love to stay connected with you! I’ve created an Interest Form where you can submit your information so we can reach back out when we reopen availability in your area.

Thank you all so much for supporting this little business and the heart behind it. Truly. It means more than you know. 🫶🏻

Simple systems = calmer days 🤍

Most overwhelm—whether in your home or even your car—doesn’t come from having too much…
it comes from not having simple systems that support your daily life.

These are a few small shifts that can make a big difference:
• a contained trash system
• intentional backseat organization
• a functional trunk setup

It doesn’t have to be complicated to work.

This is the same approach I use when helping families reset their homes—creating simple systems that make everyday life feel lighter and more manageable. 💙

Some families have no problem washing their laundry…
but struggle to put it away.

Clean clothes end up on the armchair,
or in hampers scattered all around the house.

Other families are great at putting laundry away once it’s clean…
but struggle to keep up with the washing/drying process.

If you asked me which one I am…
I’d say—it depends on the week. 😉

But no matter which “laundry type” you are,

everyday tasks like laundry, dishes, and tidying
don’t stay small for long.

They build.
They stack.
They quietly turn into overwhelm.

Especially during seasons like:

Pregnancy. Postpartum.
The toddler years (I’m right there—toy bin dumping central 😅)
Multiple kids + extracurriculars + full-time work
Or simply… burnout
(doing too much, for too long, with too little support)

That’s where we come in. 👋💙

Hi, I’m Katie—founder of Busy Mom Solutions.

This business was born out of my own survival mode.

I moved to Texas two years ago as a single mom with an 18-month-old, trying to find my footing.
My previous career didn’t translate financially here, and I had to pivot—fast.

So I asked myself:
What am I actually good at?

Running a home.
Caring for others.
Planning, logistics, systems.
Seeing what’s not working—and gently creating something better.

And Busy Mom Solutions grew from that place. 💙

Now, we support moms who are in that same overwhelmed, stretched-thin season—
while also creating meaningful, flexible work for other moms who want to show up, contribute, and support their own families.

It’s support, on both sides.

And at the heart of it, it gives families something they’ve often been missing:

✨ breathing room
✨ steadiness
✨ the ability to be present again

We are not just cleaning or organizing homes.

We are helping you move out of survival mode
and into something that actually feels sustainable.

With our progress-based model, we work alongside you—
project by project,
session by session,
week by week—

to help you build a home that supports your life… not drains it.

You bring the vision.
We help you bring it to life.

You are capable.
You are worthy of that kind of home.

You just don’t have to carry it all alone anymore.

We’ve got you. 💙

If this resonates with you, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.

If you’re ready for support, I’d love to connect and see how we can help lighten the load in your home. 🤗

We’re growing… and it’s happening faster than I ever imagined 🥹💙

Over the past few weeks, Busy Mom Solutions has welcomed new families, new rhythms, and so many homes stepping out of “survival mode” and into something more peaceful, supported, and sustainable.

Because of that, we’re expanding our team 🤗

Up until now, most of our hiring has happened through local mom communities—but we’re officially expanding our search, and we’re now Indeed official! Applications are already pouring in 😍

We are currently hiring in:
• Porter / Kingwood
• Montgomery
• Cleveland

We’re looking for aligned, compassionate women who:
• genuinely enjoy supporting families in their homes
• can bring a calm, steady presence into overwhelming seasons
• and are looking for flexible, meaningful work

This isn’t just cleaning or organizing—it’s becoming part of a family’s support system and helping create a home that feels lighter, more peaceful, and more manageable.

We are intentionally building a team of women who care deeply about their work, the families they support, and who value showing up as a steady, consistent presence each week. 💙

If this feels aligned for you (or someone you know), we’d love to connect.

Application links are in the comments 👇

Thank you for being part of this journey with us—it truly means the world 🤗
