They keep asking why we create these spaces.
This is why.
Because our children deserve to laugh without fear. Our families deserve places filled with music, love, culture, and community. Because joy is resistance. Building is resistance. Showing our youth another way is resistance.
Don't let one moment define a movement.
Every time our communities come together to pour into our people, to celebrate each other, to love on our children, we're declaring that violence is not our identity. Hope is. Excellence is. Unity is.
We'll mourn. We'll pray. We'll demand accountability.
But we will not stop building. We will not stop gathering. We will not surrender our communities to fear.
Our answer has always been the same: more love, more unity, more investment, more village.
