U.S. Highway 319 and Georgia State Route 35 northbound at mile marker 6 in Thomasville, Georgia have three issues. First the signage is extremely faded. The signage on the left is how they looked in 2011 and in the signage on the right is how they look in April of 2023. Second issue U.S. Highways and Georgia State Routes have black backgrounds or shields not green. The third issue is that the Georgia State Route 35 north sign is missing next to the U.S. Highway 319 sign.

Sign mistake found on Lee County Route 270 near Beulah, Alabama about 1 1/2 east of U.S. Highway Route 29. On Lee County Route 270 at the junction of Lee County Route 275 the arrow at the bottom of the sign is incorrect because the black arrow with the white background is used on State and U.S. Routes. County routes use yellow arrows with the blue background.

Sign mistake found on US Highway 84/ Georgia State Route 38 westbound in Quitman, Georgia in Brooks County between mile marker 10 and 11. Originally the photo (pictured on the left) was correct for displaying a US Highway 84 shield in 2013 and for some reason in 2023 the US Highway 84 sign (pictured on the right) was taken down and got downgraded to a Georgia State Route 84 sign which is incorrect.

Sign mistake on US Highway 80 West at mile marker 215.9 in Phenix City, Alabama. The signage above the highway shows US Highway 431/280 exits right which should also include Birmingham and LaFayette, Alabama on it plus there is no directional on it either like US Highway 280 West and US Highway 431 North. The cross bar over the highway doesn’t mention anything about what exits left which should be US Highway 80 West to Montgomery, Alabama, US Highway 280 East to Columbus, Georgia, and US Highway 431 South Eufaula and Dothan, Alabama via US Highway 231 Panama City, Florida on it.

Every Interstate and U.S. Route in the United States has a State Route number associated with it. In Georgia on Fort Moore Army Installation just south of Columbus, Georgia shows a Georgia State Route 411 sign next to an Interstate 185 sign which is assigned to it. These signs appear with in 3.7 miles from the beginning of Interstate 185 northbound. This is the only location where a State Route number appears next to an Interstate sign anywhere in the state of Georgia which makes this sign so unique.

I found this sign mistake this afternoon in west central Georgia. The sign on the left at the junction of U.S. Highway 82 and Georgia State Route 27/39 at mile marker 0 north shows a U.S. Highway 27 shield which is incorrect. The 27 is a Georgia State Route like the 27 shield on the right in the middle. U.S. Highway 27 is located 24 miles from this sign in Lumpkin, Georgia.

This signage is located on South College Street westbound also known as unsigned Alabama State Route 15 and Alabama State Route 147 1.3 miles from Interstate 85 exit 51. This signage is missing an Alabama State Route 147 northbound sign. Alabama State Route 267 use to be on this route before Alabama State Route 147 was rerouted over Alabama State Route 267 when it was decommissioned in October 2015.
