After reading the comments below, we felt the need to explain in a little more detail why we chose to sell our company. With the ever-increasing pricing for dumping, fuel, insurance and various other costs, as well as demand for recycling; we as a company would have had to increase our pricing significantly or sell our company. We decided to sell out instead of raising our RATES to more than that of our competitors, pricing our company out of the market. We figured as a company that our rates would have had to increase to ATLEAST $20 per month or more to maintain our service to you for garbage collection. With that being said we decided the best option for our customers would be to sell our company. After careful consideration we decided we wanted to give our customers the best possible outcome.
We didn’t want our customers to get blind sided with a large conglomerate company that says their rates and service are one thing and then every bill they get is completely different. We also didn’t want our customers to go to a company that would have hidden fees, surcharges, and other fees that would take them well above and beyond what they would traditionally be paying for trash. That’s when we decided to contact a local family owned company that has very competitive rates with no hidden fees and a recycling program included. That company is Michiana Recycling and Disposal. We know, as a company, that Michiana’s rates are STILL significantly lower than any other company in our area and that they try their best to provide great service to customers.
