Before:
The kitchen had an older, dated appearance with white cabinetry, a dark and busy layout, open shelving, yellow walls, and limited visual consistency. The countertops and backsplash showed their age, while the space felt somewhat cluttered and lacked a clean, modern focal point.

After:
The kitchen has been completely transformed into a bright, warm, modern-rustic space. The new natural wood cabinetry adds character and warmth, while the white quartz countertops and backsplash create a clean, elegant look. New pendant lighting, recessed lighting, and under-cabinet lighting brighten the room and make the workspace feel more inviting.

The updated layout provides a more organized and functional kitchen, with improved cabinetry storage, a modern sink and faucet, stainless-steel appliances, open wood shelving, and a spacious countertop work area. The existing terracotta flooring complements the new wood cabinetry and gives the kitchen a warm, timeless feel.

Overall:
The remodel changes the kitchen from an older, cluttered space into a clean, functional, bright, and professionally designed kitchen, while maintaining a warm and welcoming character.

This transformation showcases how a simple side-yard entrance can become a stunning architectural feature. The original gate consisted of aging, weathered fence boards that had faded over time, creating an uninviting appearance and providing limited security.

The completed project features a custom-fabricated steel-framed double gate with premium cedar infill panels, delivering a perfect balance of strength, durability, and natural beauty. The bold black steel frame creates clean modern lines while allowing the warm cedar tones to stand out as the focal point of the design.

To elevate the space even further, a handcrafted cedar pergola was installed above the entrance. Supported by decorative steel brackets and posts, the pergola creates a dramatic gateway that transforms a functional access point into a beautiful outdoor feature. The rich cedar beams complement the gate while adding depth, character, and architectural interest.

MGC – Transforming Ordinary Spaces Into Extraordinary Features.

This project highlights the transformation of an outdated and weathered side-yard entrance into a beautiful custom-built cedar and steel gate system. The original gate consisted of aging fence boards that had become worn, uneven, and visually inconsistent with the surrounding property. The old gate offered limited security, reduced privacy, and lacked the architectural appeal desired for the space.

The new installation features a custom double-swing gate constructed with a heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame and premium cedar infill panels. The combination of natural wood and black steel creates a timeless modern design that enhances both security and curb appeal. Above the gate, a handcrafted cedar pergola adds architectural character and creates a welcoming transition between the front and backyard areas.

The pergola's exposed beams and steel brackets provide a striking visual feature while complementing the custom gate below. Together, the gate and pergola create a cohesive outdoor design that blends functionality, durability, and craftsmanship.
