From May 18–31, 2026, the Tontitown Police Department will be participating in the National Click It or Ticket Mobilization. Our officers will be out in full force, focusing on one thing: saving lives through seat belt enforcement.

Wearing your seat belt is one of the simplest ways to protect yourself and your loved ones. Day or night, every trip, every seat — click it every time.

As part of the National 4/20 Drug‑Impaired Driving Campaign, the Tontitown Police Department is reminding everyone that ma*****na use can impair your ability to drive safely — even if you “feel fine.”

Our officers will be out with Proactive patrols to keep our roads safe.

📵 National Distracted Driving Mobilization 🚔
From April 6th–13th, the Tontitown Police Department will participate in the National Distracted Driving Mobilization, joining agencies across the country in a coordinated effort to reduce crashes caused by distracted driving.

Distracted driving remains one of the leading causes of serious and fatal collisions. Even a moment of distraction can have life‑changing consequences.

Our message is simple:
Eyes on the road. Hands on the wheel. Focused on driving.

Throughout the mobilization period, Tontitown officers will increase enforcement and visibility to help keep our roads safe. We’re asking every driver to do their part stay alert, avoid distractions, and help protect everyone who shares the roadway.

-8am-5pm, rotating on call nights/weekends

‼️ KEEP IN MIND‼️ with winter weather coming! If you find yourself in a ditch, and you call an individual with a winch or strap, they must be insured to touch your vehicle. If they are not insured and damange your vehicle, they are NOT liable! ALSO, if you are approached to be pulled out, you are not required to pay them. Arkansas State law states that if you are soliciting towing services, you have to do the services for free.
The cheapest option, is not always the best option. Make sure you call someone that is insured and licensed.
