Kansas is making meaningful progress for PAs! 👏 Governor Laura Kelly signed legislation into law that modernizes PA practice by striking ratio restrictions, moving from "supervision" to "collaboration" after 4,000 hours of clinical practice, and giving care teams the flexibility to determine how PAs practice. Together, these changes bring the state closer to an optimal practice environment! 🎉 Learn more: https://bit.ly/4sZwL1J

This week Ottawa University welcomed their inaugural PA class! 48 students are ready to start their PA school journey. Ottawa becomes the 3rd PA program in Kansas.

“Welcoming the inaugural class of the Ottawa University PA Program in Overland Park marks an important step in strengthening the PA profession and expanding access to care across Kansas. This moment reflects years of advocacy, collaboration, and commitment to preparing future PAs to serve where they are most needed.
I am deeply grateful to the many partners and champions who helped bring this vision to life.”
